Hoof Solutions was founded by Simon, a Southlander with a lifelong connection to dairy farming and animal care. With over 10 years of professional hoof trimming experience and many more spent hands-on in the industry, Simon knows what matters on the ground: animal welfare, cow safety, and equipment that gets the job done right.

Before starting Hoof Solutions, Simon and his wife Amy were sharemilking, giving them a deep understanding of the day-to-day realities of life on a dairy farm. That practical experience shapes everything we do, from choosing the right tools to providing calm, low-stress trimming on farm.

While Simon is out on the road providing hoof trimming services, Amy is in the office keeping things running smoothly, making sure customers are looked after and the business stays on track.

Simon is also a founding member and current treasurer of the NZ and Australia Hoof Trimmers Association, a role that reflects his commitment to industry standards, collaboration and continual learning.
